Yunyi Dai is a Chinese freelance illustrator based in Pasadena, California. She has been traveling across the country since 2019 with the NPR Next Generation Radio as the Lead Project Illustrator.
As a storyteller and a visual solver, Yunyi is passionate about creating Editorial Illustrations, Children’s Book Illustrations, Lifestyle Illustrations, Illustrated GIFs, and 3D Illustrations.
Yunyi has two cats named Cookie and Maki. She is currently practicing figure skating with dreams of competing next year! In her free time, she exchanges postcards with penpals around the globe. Yunyi is a curious traveler who thrives on new adventures. Whether she is exploring unfamiliar flavors and dishes or shredding ice on her skates, she always finds inspiration in the world around her.
